This collection of practice material for the International English Language Testing system (IELTS) has been specially prepared for publication by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. It provides students with an excellent opportunity to familiarize themselves with IELTS and to practice examination techniques using authentic test material. Cambridge IELTS contains complete tests for Academic candidates, plus extra Reading and Writing modules for General Training candidates. The book includes an introduction to these different modules together with an explanation of the scoring system used by Cambridge ESOL. The inclusion of a comprehensive section of answers and tapescripts means that the material is ideal for students working partly or entirely on their own. The cassettes contain material for the listening paper in the same timed format as the exam.
This is a well written, concise, and helpful book when taken in the extensive context of IELTS. It could also be used as good practice in a variety of other educational settings by Jean

This book is exactly what it is meant to be - sample tests with answer key! Great for those preparing for IELTS or for EFL teachers. by Marcos A Gazzana
The service and postage of the book was really good, although for some reason i though it came complete with the tapes for the audio part of the training, as without it the audio training part is of no use. I think that to be fare it should be specified on the ad that the book comes without the tapes.by D. E. Cardona Bedoya
